Fried Metallic Dumplings: this was one of the more interesting dishes from multi-week deep dive into chicken dishes from our cookbook shoot.
I faintly remember eating these as a young Chinese restaurant kid. Apparently these were pretty popular on my dad’s old menu, especially with little kids!
These are essentially marinated chicken mushroom “dumplings” that are very unique in preparation and very easy to cook and assemble.
