I don’t think you need to add salt to the brown sauce because it’s got so much in soy sauce and bouillon. I think it’s already pretty salty. Americans are watching their salt intake because it makes our ankle swell. But thank you for the recipe and I think it’s a good idea to keep it on hand and like you said add cornstarch later if you want to, and I can’t believe I got the black bean sauce recipe because that is my friend’s favorite to put on fish.

definitely great points! that is the beauty of home cooking that you can make it whatever you want. my dad would encourage you to make it your own for whatever needs you have :)
