We have been away from sharing recipes for a while and my whole family is really excited to return to regular recipes and videos as we continue writing our cookbook (aiming to finish within 2026, and hopefully publishing in Fall ‘27 or early 2028.)

To kick things off…
This is my dad’s Salt & Pepper Popcorn Chicken, a Cantonese twist on the iconic staple of Taiwanese night markets.
It’s one of my favorites from our cookbook development, and at our recent Father’s Day feast, my daughter ate half the plate before dinner even started.
While frying might seem intimidating, my dad’s popcorn chicken is one of the easiest recipes we’ve ever posted and only takes 20 minutes to make.
