My dad’s Soy Sauce Chicken Wing recipe is the shortcut to enjoying the iconic taste of Soy Sauce Chicken that you get from Chinese BBQ shops.

It’s a less daunting and easier than dealing with a whole entire chicken (as detailed in our whole Soy Sauce Chicken recipe.)

For our cookbook, I am trying to strike the right balance between honoring traditional recipes (which can sometimes be quite time-intensive) and sharing recipes that are approachable. I believe traditions survive by being practiced, not just by being written down as words on a page.
